I'm going back to my roots. Our garden is spread out, this picture is one of two Jalapeno pots we have.

Life Is So Precious, Make Your Love Known!

This was a great week. Kim and I were blessed with the opportunity to attend The Masters final practice round and par 3 tournament on Wednesday. It was a beautiful day and when we arrived in Augusta, the butterflies of anticipation took over. Shortly after our arrival we posed for some pictures and we were off to the gates. About half way there our lives were forever impacted.

A gentleman walking next to us collapsed of what appeared to be a heart attack. I'll spare the details of what quickly transpired, we stayed by his side until the EMT's showed up. When we left he had no pulse and obviously not breathing.

Needless to say we were beside ourselves. We were both overcome with emotions of every kind. I'm not certain of the mans outcome. I'm certain that regardless, his family's dynamic will change forever. We've prayed about him every day. Our hope is that he's comfortable wherever he is.

This was a lesson learned for us both. ALWAYS make your love known. You never know when its your time. Be right with your loved ones and be right with God.

Chris Is On Home Turf

I met mom in ATL to see Chris come in. Its been a year or so since we've seen him. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks hanging out. This weekend is Columbus (looking forward to Chris meeting Kim) then up to Louisville to see Uncle Dan, Rose, Willy, and Connie.

Welcome Home Chris!!

I think that's Chris's weapon of mass destruction he's sitting on...

Draft Horse Farming

We were driving back to the house and saw the coolest thing. Its not too often that you get to see horse drawn farming. We couldn't resist the opportunity so we stopped to take a look. The guy that's leading the horse below was very kind. He let us snoop around and take pictures. It was a great experience.

Enjoy!

Ps. While we were quite amazed that this was going on, it was very funny to see the guy talking on a cell phone in one hand and whipping the horses with the other.

"R&R In The Hills"

Kim & I got a wild hair and decided to head for the hills. We've got the hook up on a river house just outside of Helen, GA. Take a look at some of our shots from yesterday.

Enjoy!!

The Upper Room

One of my favorite lines in a movie talked about the upper room. The movie was Life. I believe it was Eddie Murphy's character who refereed to "the upper room." Meaning a great place in heaven.
The place we all want to end up.... Right?

Ive attached a link that should help you along the way. It helps me every morning.

Enjoy!

Ps. The movie Life isnt exactly kid friendly.
